Rent to keep simply means that after an initial period of leasing an appliance from us, you’ll own the equipment outright. As part of our hospitality finance options, we offer a rent-to-own plan which can is as flexible as you’d like it to be. As standard,

all equipment is owned by you after 3 years, but with our rent to own plan you can shorten the lease duration significantly — you can purchase your appliance from us any time after 12 months with this option. There’s no limit to our rent to own products, and this plan is valid across our entire range of appliances.   1. Why should I rent instead of purchasing kitchen equipment?
    Buying your equipment - whether new or used – locks you in and you are stuck with it if your business needs change. Your repayments to the bank if you borrow money to purchase equipment can be higher than rental fees. Plus, you have to pay to fix the equipment if it breaks down after the manufacturer’s warranty expires. With Flexikitch, the equipment is yours to keep after three years, and you can terminate the agreement any time after 12 months. Importantly, your equipment is fully covered under our warranty for the life of the rental. 
  2. What do I need when I apply for a rental?
    We don’t require piles of documentation – you just need to prove your identity, and that you currently work for or own a business. Typically you need to show us your driver’s licence, Medicare card, and a business lease agreement. 
  3. What kitchen equipment can I rent? 
    Flexikitch can rent you any equipment that is serialised within the hospitality industry, and has an invoice value above $3000. Some items are excluded from the warranty agreement, such as custom made equipment, all specialised and industrial equipment, point of sale equipment, vending machines and coffee machines.
  4. When can I buy out the equipment I’m renting? 
    The minimum rental term is 12 months. After this you can buy the equipment at any time, and it’s yours after 3 years. To find out your buyout cost, use our handy finance calculator or contact our friendly team.
  5. What happens if I need to change my kitchen equipment?
    You can upgrade or downgrade equipment at any time, allowing you the flexibility to grow your business. We’ll be able to re-evaluate your restaurant equipment rental plan depending on whether you opt to upgrade or downgrade, keeping it flexible and realistic for your budget. 
  6. How do I get started?
